Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Software Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Amman, Jordan. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing complex software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Lead and manage multiple software development projects simultaneously, utilizing both Agile and traditional project management methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status updates
  • Optimize team productivity
  • Ensure adherence to software development best practices and quality standards
  • Identify and resolve technical and operational issues that may impact project timelines
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software project management
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar software
  • Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Solid understanding of current software development technologies and trends
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
