Role overview:
This role of Administrative Accounting Assistant will be based in Barcelona, Spain. Reporting to the Finance Manager in Egypt. Your Responsibilities include invoice processing, A/R management, revenue control, and assisting with partner payments and tax compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Ensure the accurate and timely creation and issuance of invoices, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Invoice Management: Address and resolve invoicing queries and discrepancies from clients in a timely and professional manner. Process invoicing adjustments as needed.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records, including ageing analysis, credit and collection applications, and uncollected amounts.
- Collections: Follow up on outstanding invoices professionally and persistently, while maintaining a positive relationship with clients.
- Revenue and expense control: Assist in the oversight and control of revenue and expenses.
- Partner Payments: Assist in the management of payments to partners.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual tax documentation.
- Teamwork: Work effectively across functional teams and collaborate with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Professional Formation.
Skills:
Technical:
- Proficiency in accounting software, SaaS experience.
- 2 years of experience in Accounting.
Soft:
- Strong understanding of basic finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent math skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivation and a collaborative mindset.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
