Job Purpose
The Data Analyst - Operations will play a critical role in optimizing operational performance across Grubtech’s multi-regional footprint. This individual will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operational data (e.g., order volume, SLA compliance, onboarding throughput, activation bottlenecks, support tickets, etc.) to generate actionable insights, dashboards, and forecasts that guide strategic and tactical decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis
- Collect, clean, and validate operations data from multiple systems (e.g., onboarding tools, ticketing systems, HubSpot, internal dashboards, gOnline platform).
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs such as onboarding speed, activation rates, location health, partner SLAs, etc.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for operational improvement.
Decision Support
- Provide weekly/monthly reports and insights to department leads and executives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Implementation, Product, Marketing, etc.) to identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve client experience.
- Design A/B tests or controlled experiments to measure the impact of operational changes.
Process Automation & Optimization
- Assist in the design and implementation of process automation (e.g., using Airtable, HubSpot, Make.com).
- Recommend and help implement tools or methods for data-driven process improvement.
Forecasting & Modeling
- Analyze past trends to forecast workloads and resourcing needs for operational teams.
- Support capacity planning, budgeting, and performance benchmarking.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in SaaS, food tech, logistics, or operations-heavy industries.
- Experience working with SaaS products or multi-location businesses is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase).
- Familiarity with automation or integration platforms (e.g., Make.com, Zapier) is a plus.
- Understanding of data governance and privacy standards.
