We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and improvement of our facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management and engineering, with the ability to lead and coordinate various maintenance and repair projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of all facilities within the organization.
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair projects, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage and monitor facility budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective maintenance and repair solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address facility-related issues and coordinate necessary repairs and upgrades.
- Implement sustainable and energy-efficient practices to minimize the environmental impact of facility operations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to facility staff and maintenance teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in facilities management, engineering, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to facility management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Certification in facilities management or professional engineering license is a plus.
- Experience in the real estate or facilities management industry is preferred.
