Vision Source is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Management Accountant to join our team in
Cairo, Egypt. This is a
full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a dynamic and growing organisation. The Management Accountant will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyse financial performance and identify key trends and variances.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, working closely with other departments.
- Provide financial support and guidance to operational managers.
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
- Monitor & Closing staff collections by comparing invoices .
Qualifications
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in a similar management accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
