Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental and sustainability strategies aligned with the project’s vision.
- Monitor environmental performance, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into project planning and execution.
- Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives and raise awareness.
- Lead training sessions on environmental policies and sustainability practices.
- Stay updated on global sustainability trends and regulations to inform strategy.
- Work closely with the different environmental agencies involved in the project.
- Understand environmental risks associated with diving activities and marine operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
- Demonstrable experience in environmental management or sustainability roles, with a track record of successful project implementation.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and familiarity with sustainability frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively sharing information and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively and respectfully in a diverse, multicultural environment.
- A strong understanding of marine ecosystems, with previous experience in marine-related projects considered a significant asset.
