DoBrain started 9 years ago as a volunteer program operating in low-income neighborhoods. Refugees and child abuse victims were our first students. We discovered these young children were suffering from cognitive delay due to numerous developmental issues. However, the 100 dollar price-tag on private therapy was out of their reach. In collaboration with clinicians and neuroscientists, we initially created and provided DoBrain as a free cognitive treatment program. The class of 3 in 2013 grew to 683 in 2016, and demand kept growing. We soon needed a better way to reach these children. We turned to technology, and began our ambitious journey to transform the lives of children around the world.
