Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination and Support: Assist in the management and oversight of projects, ensuring that all aspects align with the contractual obligations and project deliverables. Provide support to the Project Manager in scheduling, planning, allocating resources and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders involved in the project, including local authorities, environmental agencies, and subcontractors. Ensure that all parties are informed of project updates, changes, and requirements.
  • Lead Field Operations and Ensure Compliance: Lead and manage diving activities while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations specific to the project. Oversee the dive team's adherence to HSE rules and maintain quality control to uphold high project standards.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Manage the collection and analysis of environmental data from the project site. Prepare and deliver detailed reports on project progress, ecological impacts, and future risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Sourcing of Materials and Equipment: Oversee the procurement and sourcing of project-specific materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability and compliance with project specifications and environmental standards. Coordinate with suppliers to secure the best quality and prices, while maintaining a sustainable supply chain.
  • Training and Development: Conduct and coordinate training sessions as needed to ensure all project team members are proficient in current environmental regulations, safety protocols, and project-specific requirements. Continuously update training materials to reflect new standards and technologies.
  • Problem Solving and Adaptation: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, adapting plans as needed to meet environmental, technical, and stakeholder expectations. Provide innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marine science, environmental science, ocean engineering, or a related field; professional diving certification (e.g., PADI Divemaster or equivalent) is a must.
  • Proven experience in managing marine construction projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental compliance in KSA.
  • Solid understanding of marine ecology, underwater construction methods, and diving operations.
  • Strong project management skills, including strategic planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders and project team members.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project or similar.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic underwater environment and adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends, diving technologies, and best practices in marine conservation.
