About the Job

We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Engineer to join our team. If you are passionate about blockchain technology and have a knack for building scalable backend systems, this role is perfect for you.

Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer at Chainsight, you will design, develop, and maintain the backend systems that power our platform. You will work closely with our frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our backend infrastructure meets the needs of our users and supports our mission.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems and APIs.
Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers to define and implement new features.
Optimize and improve the performance, reliability, and security of our backend systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code (Rust)
Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and bugs.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and blockchain.

Requirements

Proven experience as a backend engineer or similar role, preferably within the tech or blockchain industry.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Rust.
Experience with database management systems.
Understanding of Internet Computer (ICP) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
