주요업무
Position Overview:
The role will focus on financial evaluation and investment execution of renewable energy projects in Korea. The candidate will be responsible for project financial modelling, investment analysis, transaction execution, and development management of renewable energy assets, while supporting investment decision-making for senior management and the investment committee.
Key Responsibilities:
[Investment Sourcing & Origination]
• Utilize existing industry networks and expand the company’s network in Korea to source renewable energy investment opportunities.
• Develop relationships with local developers, EPC contractors, and other market participants to strengthen the project sourcing pipeline.
• Manage key client and partner relationships in Korea.
[Financial Analysis & Investment Evaluation]
• Lead financial modelling and evaluate project financial returns for renewable energy investments.
• Conduct financial analysis and support comprehensive project due diligence including commercial, regulatory, and financial aspects.
• Assess project economics, risks, and sensitivities to support investment decisions.
[Investment Execution]
• Prepare investment materials, financial analysis, and presentations for senior management and the Investment Committee in compliance with internal policies.
• Support transaction structuring and negotiate key project agreements including: Share Purchase Agreements (SPA), EPC contracts, Lease agreements, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA)
[Project Development & Management]
• Support the development and execution of renewable energy projects across the development lifecycle.
• Work closely with engineering and project management teams to transition projects from development to construction and execution phases.
• Monitor project milestones, timelines, and budgets throughout development and execution.
[Reporting & Stakeholder Management]
• Prepare and deliver internal and external reports, proposals, and presentations regarding project progress and investment status.
• Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders including investment, engineering, and management teams.
[Team Leadership & Coordination]
• Set project forecasts and coordinate closely with team members and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide direction and guidance to junior team members and monitor performance against company objectives.
자격요건
• Experience in financial modelling and investment analysis for infrastructure or renewable energy projects (More than 5 years of relevant experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of project finance and renewable energy market dynamics
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements such as EPC, SPA, or PPA
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams including engineering, legal, and project management
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• KICPA certification is a plus
