What is this role?
As a Business Development Executive, you'll be a core driver of FlapKap's growth engine. You'll be responsible for identifying and acquiring high-potential SME clients across the UAE—using every creative and data-driven method available. This role blends hustle with strategy: from building your own lead list using platforms like Instagram and Google Maps, to crafting the smartest outreach—calls, emails, LinkedIn, DMs, or even visiting Dubai when needed. You'll be selling a game-changing financial product in a region that's ripe for disruption. It's a tough and fast-paced job—but it's also rewarding, creative, and comes with real career upside and one of the best commission structures in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Source, identify, and qualify SME leads across the UAE market using digital tools and data platforms
- Execute smart, multi-channel outreach campaigns (phone, email, social media, etc.)
- Own the entire outbound sales process from lead generation to closing
- Maintain and update CRM with pipeline data, status updates, and conversion metrics
- Coordinate with the UAE-based team for warm handovers, onboarding, and client success
- Contribute ideas, strategies, and market insights to continually improve the sales process
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation
- Exceptional communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Strong research and digital prospecting skills (Instagram, Google, LinkedIn,
etc.).
- High resilience and work ethic—comfortable with volume outreach and
rejection.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter attitude
- UAE market knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory
- Finance background and knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory
