This industry is about to explode, and you'll be in the room where it's already happening.</li> </ul></div><h3><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h3> <p>As <strong>Technical Project Manager</strong> at Giga, you’ll own the day-to-day execution of one or more data center projects from design kickoff through construction close-out. You’re the person who keeps every ball in the air&nbsp; tracking submittals, chasing RFIs, coordinating A&amp;E vendors, and making sure the schedule reflects reality. You’ll work directly under a Technical Program Manager and have clear ownership of your projects while operating inside a larger program structure. This is a role for someone who’s done the work before and wants to do it faster, at higher stakes, on infrastructure that actually matters.</p> <h3><strong>Where you’ll work</strong></h3> <p>We are an in-office culture, velocity matters when you’re building physical infrastructure, and the best decisions happen in the room. This role is based at GigaEnergy HQ with regular travel to active construction sites across the US.</p> <p>That said, we will make exceptions for truly exceptional talent. If you’re the right person for this role, we’ll have a conversation about what works.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <p><strong>Design Execution</strong></p> <ul> <li>Track and manage design deliverables from Site Feasibility through IFC&nbsp; maintain the project schedule in MS Project or Primavera P6, flag slippage early, and drive recovery.</li> <li>Coordinate across Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Architectural disciplines to keep design packages synchronized; surface scope clashes before they reach the field.</li> <li>Manage the RFI and Submittal log during construction; ensure design intent is maintained through to energization.</li> <li>Maintain drawing registers, document logs, and version control in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) per GigaEnergy Document Management SOP.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Vendor &amp; Contractor Coordination</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day performance of external&nbsp; consultants, track deliverable schedules, review submittals for completeness, and escalate quality issues.</li> <li>Coordinate with GC and subcontractors on schedule alignment, long-lead procurement status, and site readiness milestones.</li> <li>Support SOW and RFP processes for A&amp;E and specialty vendor engagements under direction of the TPM.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Permitting &amp; Regulatory</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the permitting process, prepare and track permit submittal packages, coordinate AHJ comment responses, and maintain the permit log across active jurisdictions.</li> <li>Interface with utility providers and planning departments to track interconnect and approval timelines.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reporting &amp; Governance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepare weekly project status updates, schedule health, open issues, risk flags, and upcoming milestones.</li> <li>Maintain action item logs, decision registers, and meeting notes for all project coordination touchpoints.</li> <li>Participate in and support program-level governance cadences established by the TPM.</li> </ul> <h3>&nbsp;<strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.</li> <li>3–5 years of experience in project management or design coordination within data centers, high-tech manufacturing, or industrial construction.</li> <li>Able to read and interpret construction drawings, architectural floor plans, one-lines, and mechanical schematics.</li> <li>Proficiency in MS Project or Smartsheet, Bluebeam Revu, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / Build).</li> <li>Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple open loops simultaneously.</li> <li>Strong communicator&nbsp; written and verbal&nbsp; with the ability to drive action across teams you don’t directly manage.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Bonus points</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Primavera P6 for schedule development and analysis.</li> <li>Experience managing A&amp;E vendor submittals and RFI logs during active construction.</li> <li>Exposure to&nbsp; AHJ permitting environments.</li> <li>Understanding of GigaEnergy’s modular component architecture GigaPod, generator modules, chiller modules, and critical power interconnects.</li> <li>PMP certification or actively pursuing it.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>Equity (options) in a rapidly growing startup</li> <li>401(k) with 4% employer match</li> <li>Unlimited PTO</li> <li>Parental leave</li> <li>Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)</li> <li>Commuter benefits</li> <li>Monthly team onsites where all offices come in-person to collaborate</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h3><strong>Who we hire</strong></h3> <p>We hire people who thrive in chaos and get sharper under pressure.
