Role Overview
We’re on the lookout for a sharp and strategic Finance Manager to take ownership of Grubtech’s financial landscape. You’ll be the driving force behind our financial planning and decision-making — ensuring not just compliance and accuracy, but the insights and foresight that power growth.
In this role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with leadership and cross-functional teams to turn numbers into strategy — optimizing budgets, maximizing cash flow, and fueling our expansion across markets as we continue to scale our food-tech footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial plans in coordination with department heads.
- Monitor key financial metrics, cash flow, and working capital to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives, pricing models, and business cases.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within financial systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting. SaaS experience preferred and F&B is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting principles.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Quickbooks, Odoo, Joiin, Excel)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-scaling environment.
