About the Role
The Partnerships Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that contribute to Grubtech's commercial growth.
The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with technology partners, payment providers, POS vendors, aggregators, and other strategic partners to expand Grubtech's ecosystem and create mutual business value.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new strategic partnership opportunities aligned with Grubtech's commercial objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.
- Conduct market research to identify partnership opportunities and industry trends.
- Manage the partnership pipeline from prospecting through onboarding.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners and maintain ongoing communication.
- Support the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements.
- Ensure successful onboarding and activation of new partners.
- Monitor partner performance and recommend initiatives to strengthen partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for co-selling, cross-selling, and joint business initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Delivery, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives.
- Coordinate partner integrations, product launches, and enablement activities.
- Maintain accurate partnership records using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Prepare regular partnership performance reports, pipeline updates, and business insights for the VP of Commercial.
- Track partnership KPIs and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent Grubtech in meetings, events, and discussions with partners when required.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Success, Sales, or a similar commercial role.
- Experience in the Saudi Arabian and GCC markets is mandatory.
- Experience within SaaS, Food-Tech, Restaurant Technology, Hospitality Technology, FinTech, or a technology-driven environment is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace is an advantage.
