We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new candidates, guiding them through the onboarding process, and providing them with the necessary training and support to ensure a smooth transition into their roles. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial screenings of new candidates to assess their qualifications and suitability for the role
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ensure candidates meet the necessary criteria
  • Organize and participate in interviews, providing feedback and recommendations on candidate selections
  • Onboarding Process Management:
  • Develop and implement a structured onboarding process that ensures new hires are integrated smoothly into the company
  • Prepare onboarding materials and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all necessary resources are available for new hires
  • Guide new employees through orientation, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and culture
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs for new hires and coordinate with department heads to provide necessary training sessions
  • Conduct training sessions on company policies, systems, and job-specific skills
  • Monitor the progress of new hires and provide additional support or training as needed to help them succeed
  • Employee Guidance and Support:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period, answering questions and addressing any concerns
  • Facilitate feedback sessions with new hires and their managers to assess the effectiveness of the onboarding process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in onboarding, training, or a related
  • Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and deliver effective training programs
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in software and Microsoft Office Suite
