We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our online education platform and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our users' data. You will collaborate with various teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to incidents.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cyber security frameworks, best practices, and compliance requirements. You should possess experience in risk assessment, incident response, and security architecture. A proactive approach to identifying potential threats and implementing robust security solutions is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect our online platforms.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents, providing timely responses and mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated within our development processes.
  • Stay informed about the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies to enhance our security posture.
  • Provide training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders on cyber security best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related area.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with risk assessment, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly desirable.
