We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Onboarding Specialist with strong experience in onboarding, recruitment, and technical problem-solving. In this role, you will ensure a smooth, efficient, and engaging onboarding experience for new hires—particularly those in technical or product teams. Your technical background will help you understand candidate skill sets, assist with documentation, and support new employees as they acclimate to our tools and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the full onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
- Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and IT to prepare accounts, tools, and access prior to start dates.
- Conduct onboarding orientations, training sessions, and follow-ups.
- Support recruitment activities, including screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with technical assessments.
- Maintain accurate onboarding documentation, process guides, and knowledge-base materials.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues during onboarding (software access, system setup, user permissions).
- Continuously improve onboarding workflows and employee experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Proven experience in employee onboarding, HR operations, or recruitment.
- Basic coding knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL) or the ability to understand technical environments and tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
