iSchool is a fast-growing EdTech platform empowering students with future digital skills. As we continue expanding, we are looking for a dynamic Presales Team Leader to lead our first-contact strategy and ensure high-quality lead qualification before transferring opportunities to the Sales team.
Job Purpose
The Presales Team Leader is responsible for leading the team that handles the first call with potential customers, qualifies their interest and fit, and ensures only high-potential leads are transferred to the Sales team.
This role plays a critical part in improving conversion rates, maintaining pipeline quality, and enhancing the overall customer journey from the first interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & First Contact Excellence
Oversee the team responsible for making the first call to inbound and outbound leads.
Ensure proper qualification of customer needs, interest level, budget, and readiness.
Develop structured qualification frameworks and call guidelines.
Improve the ratio of qualified leads passed to Sales.
Team Leadership & Coaching
Lead, mentor, and coach the presales team to improve communication and screening skills.
Set KPIs (call volume, qualification rate, transfer rate, response time).
Conduct call audits and provide structured feedback.
Build a performance-driven and accountable team culture.
Strategy & Creativity
Design creative call approaches and scripts to increase engagement.
Improve objection-handling strategies.
Analyze rejected/closed-lost cases to refine qualification standards.
Continuously optimize the lead-to-sales handover process.
Collaboration with Sales
Ensure smooth and accurate handover of qualified leads.
Align with Sales team on qualification criteria and target personas.
Monitor feedback from Sales on lead quality.
Adjust qualification strategy based on performance insights.
3+ years of experience in Presales, Telesales, Inside Sales, or Lead Qualification.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or senior role.
Strong understanding of sales funnels and pipeline management.
Proven ability to qualify leads effectively and improve conversion rates.
Strong communication, screening, and analytical skills.
Experience working with CRM systems.
High level of creativity in engagement and problem-solving.
Ability to lead in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
