Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting and financial operations.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial records and transactions.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and cash flow.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and other financial stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial performance and highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead and develop the finance/accounting team.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably with experience in a controlling role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and financial processes.
  • Experience with audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
  • Experience in the EdTech, technology, or high-growth environment is a plus.
