This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Dubai. The Account Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of buyer and seller accounts in agricultural trade, serving as the primary point of contact for all operational and commercial interactions. Daily responsibilities include onboarding new clients, understanding their trade needs, and guiding them through Maalexi’s platform and processes.
The role involves coordinating with internal teams (operations, product, risk, and technology) to ensure seamless execution of transactions, timely resolution of issues, and high client satisfaction. The Account Manager will track account performance, analyze trade data, prepare account plans, and identify opportunities to expand wallet share, introduce new solutions, and support the adoption of Maalexi and other platform capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, including stakeholder communication, expectation setting, and conflict resolution.
- Experience in account planning, upselling/cross-selling, and revenue growth within agricultural or agrifood B2B or financial/commodity markets.
- Good understanding of trade, supply chain, or commodity operations; exposure to agricultural trade, RWAs, or fintech is an advantage.
- Comfort working with digital platforms and data dashboards; ability to interpret basic metrics, trends, and performance reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related field; a higher degree is beneficial.
- UAE driving license is a must. And candidates must be in the UAE.
