The Role:
Business analysts help to define business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. Once the issue is clearly understood, they outline detailed requirements for a solution and ensure the delivered solution meets those business requirements.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as a business module owner, assuming ownership of the team’s business scope and the related systems
- Independently analyze business requirements with internal departments
- Assess various solutions from a functional and technical perspective
- Coordinate internal workflows with regard to new product functionalities
- Writes technical documents for developers, including reference manuals and product manuals.
- Writes procedural documentation such as user stories for the product
- Meets with engineers, programmers, and project managers to learn about specific products or processes.
- Research product samples to fully understand the product.
- Creates or works with different stakeholders to create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process.
- Internal presentations / trainings / communication of the team modules and newly developed functionalities.
- Module responsibility for approval, development, and maintenance throughout life cycle.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and orally.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational skills and a team player.
- You have a positive can-do attitude and a flexible approach.
- Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented.
- You have the ability to learn new technology/systems/applications quickly.
- Capability to “think on your feet”, solve problems and also predict and resolve future issues.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to partner effectively with all Technology and business units.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience of creating user stories within the payment space (FUll stack).
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Proven ability to develop solution design documents and functional specification documents.
- Ability to gather business requirements and understand and translate them into technical requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the payments industry.
