The Role
As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll take ownership of designing and building APIs that support NymCard’s real-time payment infrastructure. You’ll work on distributed systems that process millions of transactions, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
You’ll work closely with other engineers, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure that systems are secure, maintainable, and designed for long-term evolution. This role goes beyond writing code. We’re looking for engineers who contribute to architecture, technical design, and platform thinking.
As we evolve from a software delivery model to a centralized platform product, you’ll play a key role in shaping how that transition is built. Your input will influence how we move from project-based feature development toward a cohesive, scalable, and modular backend system.
