The Role

We’re hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us scale engineering hiring with higher quality and better predictability. You will take ownership of technical requisitions end-to-end and act as the hiring manager’s operator and advisor, not an order-taker.

This role sits at the center of how we grow our product and platform teams. You’ll partner with engineering leaders to translate business needs into clear role definitions, build targeted sourcing strategies, and run structured interview processes that surface real engineering signal. You’ll be expected to keep velocity high without compromising standards, and to use data to diagnose bottlenecks, reset expectations, and improve decision-making.

Success in this seat looks like: strong shortlists, clean funnel health, fast time-in-stage, high offer acceptance, and consistent bar-raiser hires. What you will do

  • Own end-to-end Tech hiring: intake, sourcing, screening, interview loops, references, offers, and closing.
  • Run sharp intake sessions: define role outcomes, must-haves, dealbreakers, and decision rules with hiring managers.
  • Build predictable pipelines through direct sourcing: targeted outreach, talent mapping, referrals, and proactive market coverage.
  • Screen for real engineering signal: scope, impact, depth, problem-solving, and execution, with clear evidence-based notes.
  • Drive structured assessment: scorecards, interview plans, panel alignment, and interview quality improvements.
  • Operate a weekly hiring cadence: funnel health, conversions, bottlenecks, and next actions to keep decisions moving.
  • Partner with stakeholders firmly: challenge unrealistic specs, reset expectations with data, and protect the hiring bar.
  • Close top candidates: high-touch engagement, expectation-setting, offer alignment, and counter-offer strategy.
  • Maintain ATS hygiene and reporting discipline so pipeline data is accurate, decision-ready, and forecastable.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of in-house recruitment experience with strong delivery in Tech hiring (product company preferred).
  • Proven ability to source and close strong technical talent in competitive markets (not reliant on inbound).
  • Strong stakeholder management: you can influence, push back, and drive decisions with urgency and professionalism.
  • Structured interviewing mindset: scorecards, consistent evaluation, crisp pass and fail recommendations.
  • High execution standards: responsive, organised, detail-strong, and comfortable in a high-speed environment.
  • ATS fluency and comfort working with funnel metrics (conversion, time-in-stage, drop-off reasons, acceptance rate).
