The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented individual to join our Information Technology group as a Systems Administrator on the Corporate IT team based in Toronto. Reporting to the Director, Corporate IT, this role will provide support for our HR, Payroll, Finance and Compliance applications. The successful candidate will be an experienced systems administrator with 3-5 years experience in supporting technology applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- System administrator for the HR platform and other integrated HR and payroll systems, ensuring optimal performance and user support
- System administrator for other Corporate IT applications across Compliance and Finance, including our ERP system
- Technical support for custom and out of the box integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between Onex systems and up and downstream systems, managing endpoints, keys and data mapping.
- Establish and implement best practices with regards to system maintenance, development, testing, data integrity, etc, creating and maintaining technical support documentation.
- Contribute technical expertise to business projects and create solutions to meet challenges (including performing detailed analysis of technical and business requirements).
- Provide incident management services, resolving technical issues identified in Corporate IT systems or any of their integrations.
- Manage integrations including liaising with third party technical teams for issue resolution, build, test and ongoing support.
- Perform periodic audit to test appropriate controls and ensure integrity of data and system.
- Plan and coordinate for platform upgrades or new services, ensuring all systems will operate correctly in current and future state.
- Establish production implementation and rollout plans and manage deployment tasks for any technical scope
- Vendor governance and assessment related to system security, incident management and response times, business continuity and service levels.
- Design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI
Candidate Profile:
- Familiarity with Corporate IT systems related to HR, Finance and Compliance
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion and simplify complex situations
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills who will fit seamlessly into our team culture
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly and think creatively
- Competency in SQL, VB.net, PowerBI, .Net, Python, Azure function apps, APIs and microservices, SFTP, SSH auth, PGP encryption, DevOps
- Experience providing production support and root cause analysis
- Understanding of security and privacy governance
