THE OPPORTUNITY:

The IT Delivery Lead is responsible for coordinating and enabling the delivery of IT initiatives and operational improvements across the technology organization. This role focuses on execution, alignment, and communication within IT, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and in support of business priorities.

The IT Delivery Lead works closely with the Infrastructure and Service Desk teams, as well as external partners, to support the successful implementation of technology changes, upgrades, and improvements, while maintaining strong alignment with operational standards and service stability. The IT Delivery lead will report to IT Leadership.

CAREER GROWTH OPPORTUNITY:

This role provides exposure to enterprise scale IT operations and delivery, with a development path into senior IT delivery or technology leadership roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

IT Delivery Coordination

  • Coordinate the delivery of IT initiatives, technology changes, and operational improvements
  • Support the execution of work across the Infrastructure, Service Desk, and Cybersecurity teams, as well as external vendors
  • Ensure delivery activities are aligned with operational readiness and service stability
  • Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and constraints and escalate as needed

Execution and Enablement

  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear delivery activities for IT teams
  • Support planning and sequencing of work within IT to minimize disruption
  • Track progress of delivery activities and ensure follow through on commitments

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a central coordination point within IT for assigned initiatives
  • Communicate delivery status, impacts, and timelines to stakeholders
  • Set expectations related to scope, sequencing, and operational impact

Operational Support and Continuous Improvement

  • Support system upgrades, platform enhancements, and technology rollouts
  • Participate in post implementation reviews and operational follow ups
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, tools, and ways of working

Vendor and Partner Coordination

  • Coordinate delivery activities with service providers and vendors
  • Monitor vendor commitments related to IT delivery activities
  • Escalate delivery or performance concerns to IT leadership

Governance and Documentation

  • Maintain delivery documentation, implementation plans, and status reporting
  • Ensure delivery activities align with IT standards, security requirements, and change processes

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in IT delivery, IT operations, or technology coordination roles
  • Experience working within an enterprise IT environment
  • Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, end user services, and enterprise systems
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple technical teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL
  • Experience supporting technology change and operational delivery initiatives
  • Experience working with vendors or service providers
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand new platforms and services

COMPENSATION AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The expected base salary range for this position is C$70,000 - C$100,000 on an annualized basis.

All-in compensation may vary based on several factors, such as relative experience, education level attained, certification(s), geographical location, etc. to account for local market conditions.
