Job Overview
As the Production Manager at Innovative foods industries, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that our factory operates smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with our team to maintain high-quality standards and meet production targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the daily production schedule to meet customer demand and maintain inventory levels
- Manage and lead a team
- Ensure that all food products are prepared and presented according to Innovative foods industries's standards and recipes
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients at the best prices
- Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene practices in the Factory, following all health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency and excellence in food production
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones
- Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in food production, with at least 5 years in a management/supervisory role
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and meeting production targets
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
