Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Warehouse and Operations Manager to support our growing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and operations, with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Warehouse and Operations Manager in managing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing products and materials
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment
- Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely ordering of supplies and materials
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Monitor and track warehouse KPIs and provide regular reports to management
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols in the warehouse
- Assist in the hiring and training of new warehouse staff as needed
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse and Operations Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management and operations
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of warehouse safety and security protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
