Job Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our retail store. You will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of retail operations, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in managing the daily operations of the store
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and managing a team of sales associates
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, develop strategies to increase sales, and achieve targets
  • Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Oversee visual merchandising and ensure the store is always well-presented
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Handle cash management and ensure accuracy in all cash transactions
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement marketing and promotional strategies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and sales techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
