We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Logistics Officer to manage daily logistics operations, including inventory control, warehouse management, supply chain coordination, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in logistics or a related field, preferably within the oil industry, and possess strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in relevant software.
Key Responsibilities - Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Ensure optimal stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishments.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of materials to maximize warehouse efficiency.
- Logistics Management:
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective logistics operations.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure smooth movement of goods.
- Supply Chain Coordination:
- Work closely with procurement and suppliers to manage supply chain activities.
- Assist in developing strategies for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain and update logistics documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil industry.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
