Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Estimate Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and cost analysis, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering accurate and timely estimates for our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed cost estimates for projects based on project plans, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
- Analyze and review project plans, designs, and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Utilize cost estimating software and tools to ensure accurate and efficient estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather all necessary information for the estimate.
- Provide support to the procurement team by reviewing and analyzing supplier quotes and proposals.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely estimates to clients.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of cost information and historical data for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electriical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and cost analysis.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, designs, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
