Senior PHP Developer to join our growing team in
Cairo, Egypt. This is a
full-time position offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge web applications. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our core platform and associated services. You will be working in a collaborative environment alongside other developers, designers, and product managers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, reusable, and performant PHP code.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of various components.
- Contribute to the development of architectural and design decisions.
- Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed code.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, providing effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in PHP development.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Extensive experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
