Grand Technology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Senior Accountant to join our growing team in
Cairo, Egypt. This is a
full-time position offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the general ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights to management for decision-making.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
- Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience of 4+ years as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in relation to UK-English accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
