Alfarabi is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registrar Clinical Pathology to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading healthcare institution. The Registrar Clinical Pathology will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing diseases through laboratory testing and analysis. They will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret a wide range of clinical pathology tests, including haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
  • Analyse patient samples and interpret results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings and communicate them effectively to clinicians.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control procedures to maintain laboratory standards.
  • Contribute to research and development activities within the department.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in clinical pathology.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all laboratory activities.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a specialisation in Clinical Pathology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Proven experience working in a clinical pathology laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and quality control measures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex laboratory data effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements.
