Job Overview

Alfarabi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registrar Clinical Pathology to join our team in Al Qunfudhah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing healthcare organisation. The Registrar Clinical Pathology will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic services, contributing to the overall quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and analyse specimens from various sources to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
  • Perform and interpret laboratory tests in areas such as haematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, maintaining meticulous records and adhering to quality control procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, providing expert consultation and interpretation of laboratory findings.
  • Participate in continuing professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in clinical pathology.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and technologies.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to all relevant safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pathology (e.g., MRCPath or equivalent).
  • Full registration with the relevant medical council or licensing authority in Saudi Arabia is essential.
  • Proven experience as a Registrar or equivalent role in Clinical Pathology.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
