Grand Technology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Senior Accountant to join our growing team in
Cairo, Egypt. This is a
full-time position offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and analysis.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports.
- Conduct internal audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Proven experience of 3+ years in a similar role, preferably within the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
