Grand Technology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled
Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing team in
Cairo, Egypt. This is a
full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the security posture of a dynamic and innovative technology company. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our digital assets and infrastructure from cyber threats. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures, conducting vulnerability assessments, and responding to security incidents. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect Grand Technology's networks, systems, and data.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
- Research and evaluate new security technologies and tools.
- Provide security awareness training to employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
