Grand Technology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled
Cloud Engineer to join our growing team in
Cairo, Egypt. This is a
full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cloud projects. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Automate infrastructure deployments and management tasks using scripting and automation tools.
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of cloud architecture strategies and roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Document cloud infrastructure designs and configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, working with major cloud providers.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Relevant cloud certifications are highly desirable.
