Almnabr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Structural Engineer – Steel Design to join our team in
Cairo, Egypt. This is a
full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to challenging and rewarding projects. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of steel structures, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers and contribute your expertise to a variety of projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex steel structures for various building types.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and oversee construction activities.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and architects to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Review and approve shop drawings and other construction documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a reputable university.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience of at least 8 years in steel structure design.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis principles and software.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is desirable.
- Experience working on international projects is advantageous.
