Job Description

We seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary ranging from 15,000 AED to 20,000 AED per month. The Financial Controller will play a critical role in overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial management. This role requires a strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and experience within the real estate sector.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage working capital.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide financial advice and support to senior management.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial controller role.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and relevant accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing financial controls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software packages.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
