Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement efficient irrigation systems tailored to the local climate and available resources.
- Oversee the selection, planting, and maintenance of crops, ensuring optimal growth and yield.
- Conduct regular field assessments to monitor crop health, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
- Implement and manage sustainable agricultural practices to minimise environmental impact and maximise resource efficiency.
- Analyse data and prepare reports on crop performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of agricultural projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in agricultural technology and practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new agricultural initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in agricultural engineering, with a focus on crop production and irrigation systems.
