Job Overview

Shear International Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Manager to oversee operations at our steel foundry and iron casting factory in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience in production management within a similar industrial environment. The Production Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality steel and iron castings, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of production, from planning and scheduling to quality control and delivery.
  • Manage and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and maintain production best practices to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Develop and monitor production budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve production processes and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and sales, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management within a steel foundry or iron casting factory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of foundry processes, including melting, moulding, casting, and finishing.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate production teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technologies.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations.
