Job Title: Specialist – Feasibility Studies

The Specialist – Feasibility Studies plays a critical role in the evaluation and analysis of government capital projects by conducting thorough feasibility assessments and delivering well-founded recommendations. This role is essential in supporting strategic decision-making by ensuring that proposed projects align with broader economic, social, environmental, and financial objectives.

Leveraging a range of strategic and analytical tools, the Specialist assesses multiple dimensions of each project, including its economic viability, social impact, environmental sustainability, and financial feasibility. The objective is to ensure that all capital initiatives contribute meaningfully to government priorities and are sustainable over the long term.

Key responsibilities include the review and evaluation of capital projects to confirm their compliance with established planning frameworks, governance protocols, and regulatory requirements. The Specialist also actively monitors proposed projects across various stages, collaborating closely with both internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and project readiness.

In addition to project-level assessments, the Specialist contributes to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall capital budget cycle. This is achieved through the application of normative studies, the integration of continuous improvement methodologies, and the use of key performance indicators. These efforts support a data-driven and outcomes-focused approach to project planning, enabling more effective allocation of resources and increased success rates of capital initiatives.
