Bodyworks is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Painter to join our team. This full-time position will be based in Bahrain, India. The Auto Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's reputation for quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mix paints to match manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Apply paint using spray guns and other specialised equipment.
- Ensure proper paint coverage and finish quality.
- Inspect finished work for imperfections and make necessary corrections.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest painting techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
- Proven 2-5 years of experience as an Auto Painter, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of paint mixing and application techniques.
- Proficiency in using spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
- Familiarity with automotive paint systems and products.
- A relevant qualification in auto body repair or painting would be advantageous.
