The Senior Executive, Entrepreneurs Development is responsible for enabling entrepreneurs and SMEs particularly Emirati enterprises to access opportunities, navigate regulatory processes, and build sustainable business foundations. It combines advisory delivery, relationship management, and program execution to position businesses for growth, market expansion, and access to buyers and support platforms. The role contributes in growth support initiatives, performance tracking, funding facilitation, and ecosystem coordination, directly supporting Dubai SME’s national enterprise development goals.

Key Accountabilities

Core Functional Responsibilities & Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives for high-potential SMEs by applying knowledge of growth drivers, sector trends, and scale-up methodologies.
  • Assess SMEs capabilities and market positioning against scale-readiness indicators to guide participation in tailored interventions and expansion pathways.
  • Deliver advisory sessions to entrepreneurs on operational maturity, market access, investment readiness, export enablement, and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate entrepreneurs access to resources including consultations, diagnostic tools, toolkits, and market intelligence to enhance growth outcomes.
  • Coordinate with investors, accelerators, export entities, and government enablers to secure SMEs’ access to financing, procurement, and international opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to promote SME value propositions and create linkages with partners and buyers.
  • Guide entrepreneurs through registration, licensing, renewals, and related procedures, resolving cross-entity challenges as needed.
  • Monitor SMEs progress against milestones, evaluate partner entities’ performance, and prepare reports on program effectiveness and impact.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge products, templates, and toolkits that improve the consistency and scalability of SME growth services.
  • Conduct market research and business intelligence analysis to inform program design and provide inputs to policy and strategy development.
  • Represent the program in working groups, ecosystem forums, and stakeholder sessions to share insights and strengthen collaboration.
