Job description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of welding tasks to support the construction of the project, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in various welding techniques, understand safety protocols, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in welding techniques suitable for tunnel construction such Stick welding, Gas cutting (Oxy acetylene), etc.
  • Understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to perform precising welding on various metals, including steel and alloy materials used in tunnel construction.
  • Skills in performing inspections and tests and welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

Requirements and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive experience (typically 1-3+ years) working as a welder in large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Additional specialized certifications or training related to tunnel construction (e.g., confined space entry training, TESDA NCII)
  • Cabantian Davao CIty
