FAJR Global is seeking a qualified Medical Claims & Clinical Billing Audit Consultant to support the review and audit of medical claims submitted by hospitals, medical centers, rehabilitation facilities, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers participating in the MedEvac Jordan Program.
The consultant will ensure that medical invoices accurately reflect the services provided, comply with approved treatment plans, meet clinical necessity, and represent fair and reasonable pricing within the Jordanian healthcare market.
This role combines clinical understanding with medical billing expertise to strengthen financial accountability, improve cost control, and ensure the responsible use of donor-funded medical resources.
The successful consultant will be responsible for:
- Reviewing itemized medical bills and healthcare claims.
- Matching invoices with medical reports, treatment plans, physician orders, discharge summaries, laboratory and imaging results, prescriptions, and supporting clinical documentation.
- Assessing the medical necessity and clinical appropriateness of billed services.
- Identifying duplicate, unsupported, excessive, or incorrectly billed services.
- Comparing medical charges with prevailing market rates in Jordan.
- Providing recommendations to approve, adjust, negotiate, or reject medical claims.
- Preparing structured claims review reports and recommendations.
- Supporting improvements in medical billing review procedures and internal controls.
- Coordinating with FAJR Global's medical, operations, and finance teams whenever additional clarification is required.
