We are seeking a meticulous and organised Data Coordinator to join our team in Monterey Park, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our institutional data, playing a crucial role in supporting our educational and administrative operations. This is a full-time position for an individual who is passionate about data management and wishes to contribute to a mission-driven organisation.

Responsibilities

As a Data Coordinator, you will be entrusted with managing and safeguarding our data systems. Your key duties will include:

• Accurately entering and maintaining data across various platforms, including student information systems, enrolment records, and course databases.
• Performing regular data quality checks and audits to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all information.
• Generating and preparing routine reports for academic staff, administration, and management to support decision-making.
• Assisting with data clean-up projects to streamline and improve our data management processes.
• Responding to data-related enquiries from staff and providing administrative support as needed.
• Upholding strict confidentiality and data protection standards when handling sensitive information.
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure data consistency and support their operational needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. The required qualifications include:

• Proven experience in a data entry, data coordinator, or similar administrative role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with student information systems (SIS) or other database software is highly desirable but not essential.
