ERP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are looking for an experienced Software Support & Tester to join our ERP software team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting customers, understanding software-related issues, testing ERP applications, and reporting bugs clearly to the development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide software support to customers using our ERP application.
- Understand customer issues and provide suitable solutions or guidance.
- Test new features, software updates, and bug fixes before deployment.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and report software bugs.
- Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
- Perform manual testing of ERP modules and business workflows.
- Create, update, and follow up on tasks and issues using project management and issue-tracking tools.
- Coordinate with programmers, implementation teams, and customers to resolve software issues.
- Verify completed bug fixes and ensure that existing features continue to work correctly.
- Maintain proper records of customer issues, testing results, and resolutions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in ERP software support, software testing, or business applications.
- Good understanding of ERP modules such as:
- Sales
- Purchase
- Inventory
- Accounts
- Warehouse
- Ability to understand business workflows and customer requirements.
- Experience in manual software testing.
- Ability to identify, reproduce, document, and report software issues clearly.
- Experience using project management and issue-tracking tools such as YouTrack, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Ability to create tasks, report bugs, update issue statuses, add comments, and follow up with the development team.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and technical teams.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred.
- Knowledge of automation testing will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience working with ERP, accounting, inventory, trading, distribution, or warehouse software.
- Familiarity with customer support and software implementation processes.
- Customer-focused attitude with good analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a software development team.
- Willingness to learn new ERP modules, business processes, and testing tools.
