Essmann's Cabinetry and Millwork, a specialist in high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture, is seeking a diligent and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team in Alabama Fork, Alabama. This is a full-time position, central to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, capable of supporting our team of craftsmen and management. You will be a key point of contact for our clients, embodying the commitment to quality and tailored service that our company is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Manage office communications, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence in a professional manner.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior management and the wider team.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and company events.
  • Maintain and organise physical and digital filing systems, ensuring documents are easily accessible.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other business documents as required.
  • Greet visitors and clients, offering a welcoming and professional first impression of the company.
  • Monitor and order office supplies and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and tracking expenses.
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers to help coordinate project timelines and deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
  • The ability to work independently and as a valued member of a team.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience within the manufacturing or construction industry is desirable but not essential.
