Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets to help us optimise our production processes, understand market trends, and enhance our business strategy. Responsibilities

* Collect, cleanse, and interpret data from various sources, including production logs, sales figures, and supply chain systems, to ensure data integrity.
* Analyse business processes and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
* Translate complex data and findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
* Collaborate with various departments, including production, sales, and management, to understand their analytical needs and provide data-driven support.
* Perform in-depth analysis to support strategic projects, such as cost reduction, operational efficiency, and market expansion.
* Contribute to the development of data management policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
* Proven experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
* Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data modelling.
* Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
* Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* A high level of accuracy and a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* Experience in a manufacturing or bespoke production environment would be considered a significant advantage.
